Prerequisites.

  1. Apex Legends Closed before running Loader

  2. Disable Secure Boot in BIOS.

Error: "The client is not running the anti-cheat, or has failed the anti-cheat authentication"

  1. Press "Continue" when you encounter this error. It is a common issue that should not disrupt your gameplay.

  2. If the problem persists, try repairing the game files (steam & ea).

Control Failed 57 & Error Code 27 (Fix 1)

  1. Uninstall Windows Update (KB5017308):

  2. Go to "Settings" on your Windows PC.

  3. Navigate to "Update & Security" > "Windows Update."

  4. Click on "View update history" and then on "Uninstall updates."

  5. Locate "KB5017308" from the list of installed updates.

  6. Right-click on it and select "Uninstall."

  7. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation.

Control Failed 57 & Error Code 27 (Fix 2)

  1. Uninstall other Anti-Cheat Software:

  2. Uninstall Valorant Vanguard, FiveM, Faceit, or any other third-party antiviruses or anti-cheat software that might interfere with the game's anti-cheat system. b

  3. Go to "Control Panel" > "Programs and Features," find the software, and uninstall it.

Control Failed 57 & Error Code 27 (Fix 3)

  • Reinstall Windows if 1 & 2 didn't work.

  1. Disable VPN if you have one enabled.

  2. Don't have a VPN enabled but still have error 21/22? Enable a VPN and try again.

Error Code 19

  • Server is offline (Waiting for server... also try with VPN/without)

Error Code 5

  1. Run PowerShell as Administrator:

  2. Press the "Windows" key on your keyboard.

  3. Type "PowerShell" in the search bar.

  4. Right-click on "Windows PowerShell" from the search results.

  5. Select "Run as administrator" from the context menu.

  6. Disable Hyper-V Hypervisor: In the elevated PowerShell window, run the following command: 

    bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off
